A Bloody New Year

I'm a little late with my New Year update, but I'm definitely not standing still!

But First: I'm still on a quest to generate reviews for "I Really Like Hurting You," but the process is still going a bit slow. You can have the ePub free (for a limited time), in exchange for a review on your favorite site. So far, I have only two public ratings—and no reviews—on Amazon at the moment (a 5-star and a 3-star), despite having sold several dozen copies as of this writing). I need to generate more reviews to generate awareness.

But I'm not just waiting for things to happen.

The book is available on Amazon and Smashwords, and through Smashwords on a host of other sites. I'm also putting it up on Google Play. I really wasn't previously aware of their bookstore, but I'm giving it a try. It's processing at the moment, and I'll be sure to share it here when it's active. I'm not big on auto-generated audiobooks, but I might give Google Play's tool a try and see how it goes.

I ordered a few paperback versions, which I'll offer on my social channels when they arrive. They're available for purchase on Amazon only.

My immediate goal is to reach ten reviews (or just ten ratings, if that happens faster).  At that point, I'll run a second marketing campaign. The first did well, but I think it will be more effective once I have reviews in place (check out an earlier blog for my first review).

I'm working on several other horror projects, including a follow-up to "I Really Like Hurting You" (it is the first part in a series, after all) - I'm excited to share my upcoming horror tales when the time comes.

One final note: I just discovered that Midjourney's AI art platform allows me to ask for someone "with blood on his face," but not, strangely enough, someone with a "bloody" face. A horror blog needs blood!

Thanks for your continued support!
